Question by Jacob Crim: Do you think that “Funny People” will make Adam Sandler better?
Here is the thing, Adam Sandler is a legit actor (Punch Drunk Love, Reign over Me). But he has not done a good comedy since Waterboy, and even his early comedies are kinda corny and immature.

I am hoping that Funny People will give him the incentive to actually do more real movies and real comedies.

Meh, Adam Sandler is good, always has been. He just doesn’t pick the best roles sometimes, like You Don’t Mess With the Zohan. Movie is garbage. I hope it does give him incentive to do better movies as well…love Waterboy. He could make some really good films with Apatow and his gang. Good crew.
